Are you or someone you know interested in insulating your loft, but need a helping-hand to make it happen?

Insulating your loft, attic or flat roof is one of the most effective (25% of heat is lost through the roof), quickest (a day or two) and cheapest (£900 – £1200) ways to cut heat loss and bills, while making your home better for you and the planet.

South East London Community Energy is helping homeowners in Greenwich and Lewisham clear out the clutter and insulate to improve health, wealth and planet by:

  • Providing a free loft insulation inspection carried out by a qualified Retrofit Assessor
  • A free handy-person to help remove and replace light- and medium-weight goods from the loft
  • Checking if the household qualifies for the Great British Insulation Scheme (details below)
  • Contributing £200 pounds toward the cost of insulation
