Summer is almost here, we have a full season of retrofit events lined up across South London and we’d love to see you at them!
Whether you’re a curious homeowner just beginning to explore energy upgrades, or a hands-on DIYer ready to get stuck into solar, repointing, and green roofs, there’s something for everyone this summer.
From relaxed pub nights in Camberwell to practical workshops and a family-friendly festival, we’re bringing together experts, neighbours and community energy enthusiasts to share skills, swap knowledge, and take action on our homes together – full event list and booking info on our Eventbrite page.

Selce’s Pub Party Retrofit Series is coming to Camberwell!
Funded by the Southwark Community Energy Fund, Selce are hosting a three-part series of Retrofit Pub Parties in Camberwell this summer in collaboration with the Camberwell Society. These will all be hosted Grove House Tavern, Camberwell from 6:30-9pm – food and drink provided
20th May: Retrofit 101 with EcoAlex
26th May: Choosing your Solar Contractor
4th June: Navigating Conservation Areas with architect James Foster of Foster Perpatidou.
Calling all handy people who want to deepen their technical and practical understanding of making homes cleaner, greener and bills leaner! We’re running a series of events and workshops throughout the summer to develop your retrofit DIY skills, including:
June 7 – Bell House Festival of Retrofit in partnership with Blue Patch and Bell House for a family-friendly day of activities, talks, workshops, and stalls
June 21 – DIY: Greening Your Roofs, Lofts and Walls with EcoAlex and friends (£15 or fully subsidised)
June 28 – DIY: Repointing with WEVA Collective (£15 or fully subsidised)
Wednesday Lunch and Learn Webinars covering net zero, what can you do about over-heating in your home, understanding if solar will work on your home, and natural insualtion 101.
