Thanks to our investors, the school is now saving £6,725 and 7,000kg+ in CO2 emissions annually – all with an incredibly quick turnaround. Rapid community energy impact in action!

Our Next Share Offer: Heat Pump at Charlton Park Academy
Hot on its heels, we are announcing details of our next share offer – to fund and install a heat pump, powering the 24/7 hydrotherapy pool facility at Charlton Park Academy, a special educational needs school.
If successful, this will be South East London Community Energy (Selce)’s 24th community financed installation – after 11 for LEDs, and 12 for solar, we are revisiting one of the solar sites from our first ever share offer to add a renewable heating system.
– It will reduce emissions by the equivalent of 33 households’ electricity usage per year.
– Over 20 years of operation, the 58kW unit will save 313.4 tonnes in CO2e emissions
