Growing the Alternatives

Growing the Alternatives – 13 Sept at the Albany

Join us for a family-friendly day of community building, skill-sharing, and learning – creating the alternatives we need for people and the planet.

The systems we live in aren’t built to care for us or the natural world. All we have is each other, so this is your chance to connect with others, discover local initiatives, and gain practical skills to help our communities not just survive, but thrive together.

Growing the Alternatives will include:

Interactive sessions on renewables, retrofit, low carbon cooking and tackling climate disinformation

Workshops on land justice, housing, decolonising economics and more

Child friendly activities, art and crafts

Fix your bike at the cycle repair station, sing with a community choir

Plus more TBA!

Sat 13 September 11am-5pm / at the Albany, Douglas Way London SE8 4AG
