Are you keen to help your friends and neighbours understand how they can improve their homes for health, wealth and planet?

South East London Community Energy would like to hear from you!

We are looking to join forces with champions and individuals across Greenwich and Lewisham to help raise awareness about the importance of:

  • Reducing energy consumption
  • Retrofitting homes and buildings (Retrofit means to improve the energy efficiency of an existing building through insulation, heating system upgrades, and local power generation.)
  • Reimaging how we can live in our homes and communities

Through:

  • Mobilising your local networks (through inviting them to local events to learn about retrofit)
  • Sharing your experiences of retrofitting your home

Selce will:

  • Hold monthly champion peer-to-peer sessions
  • Co-ordinate and organise events that address questions and curiosities in your communities about retrofit and energy efficiency
  • Create opportunities for collective practical learning around energy efficiency

We’re particularly keen to speak to early adopters and green champions in Kidbrooke Park and Lee Manor where we’ll be pioneering a place-based approach to retrofit as part of our Future Fit Homes Project.
